I'm A Celebrity: Scarlett Moffatt has told fans she feels "so accepted and loved" after becoming this year's Queen of the jungle.

Scarlett beat Emmerdale's Adam Thomas and comedian Joel Dommett to the crown and was overcome with emotion at the result.

Viewers watched her break down on the show to hosts Ant and Dec, and now, Scarlett has taken to Twitter to address her win.

She tweeted: "Thank you so much everyone for all your support. I feel so accepted and loved. Thanks for making all of my dreams come true."

Scarlett finished in first place on I'm A Celebrity's 2016 series, while Joel came second and Adam took third place. Fans got to see the trio's last day in camp before the results were announced and they enjoyed a royal banquet fit for a King or Queen after they each won five stars in their last ever bushtucker trial.

While Adam had to endure five minutes with his head in a helmet, accompanied by different critters - including spiders, Joel had to eat a slew of jungle delicacies, from fish eyes to a pig's snout, and Scarlett had to find five stars while trapped in a cave.

Speaking about her time in the jungle, Scarlett said: "I wish I could do it all again. It was just amazing. It was unreal. It's exceeded [my expectations] beyond anything I ever thought. I've never felt so happy, which is weird because I hate camping, but I'm going to miss waking up and hearing everyone chatting.

"I just feel like I'm not going to be scared of anything anymore."

The Gogglebox star admitted she had watched the show since she was ten years old and couldn't believe she had finally taken part herself.

After Ant and Dec announced Scarlett had won this year's series, she told the pair she was feeling "dizzy".

"Never did I ever think this would happen, ever," she insisted.

Runner-up Joel, meanwhile, joked: "This is great. I've never come second in anything, not that I've ever come first... I've always been further down the line."

"She is the best human being I've ever met. She's so fantastic. The moment I saw her I said she's going to win... I'm happy to call her a friend."
