I'm A Celebrity: Jordan Banjo has opened up on his relationship with former EastEnders actor Larry Lamb, revealing his dad wants to personally thank Larry for looking after him while he was in the jungle.

Diversity star Jordan became the fourth celebrity to leave I'm A Celebrity this series and on his exit, Larry was in tears. Speaking about Jordan, he said: "I just love him, he's just like another boy of mine."

Larry's reaction made all our hearts melt, including Jordan's, and he has admitted he never expected to develop such a close bond with the 69-year-old.

Jordan appeared on I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp and Vicky Pattison told him that she thinks he got "one of the biggest reactions" to somebody leaving camp ever on the show.

She asked Jordan whether that had left him "buzzing" and Jordan joked: "Well, you know, leave an impression."

He then said that he was grateful for the close bond he developed with the boys and Larry, as it got him through the experience.

Jordan explained: "Seriously, there were so many times I was there on my hammock that I thought, 'I don't know if I can do this.' It was genuinely because of [all the boys] and Larry. I spoke to my dad yesterday on the phone my dad said whenever Larry comes out he wants to call him and thank him. My dad is so grateful to him for everything, because he literally looked after me in there. I'm so grateful to him.

"I didn't see it coming [with Larry]. I was mucking about with Wayne, Adam and Joel - I expected that. Larry, he sort of came out of nowhere.

"When I started to feel down, he was always there. Every morning - he knows I don't like water - he would come over and would wake me up and say, 'You alright baby boy? I know you don't like water, I've got you a cup of tea.' Every single morning. It was the best thing, it was so lovely to have him there."

Vicky then asked Jordan what he'd miss most about the jungle and, not surprisingly, he said the boys.

"100 percent the boys. I loved all the campmates, but I genuinely think I've made friends for life in all of those boys."

Jordan then joked: "I might have to leave Diversity at this rate [and start a new group]... I'm joking. But, we could bring a few new members into the group."

Viewers also learnt that the first thing Jordan did when he left camp was order a Dominoes pizza. He told Vicky: "I had a Dominoes man. I ordered it in the car and they were like, 'Err, it's quarter past ten mate?' I was like, 'I don't care. Just get it now.'"

Following Jordan's exit from the show, Carol Vorderman became the fifth celebrity to leave I'm A Celebrity. Carol told Ant and Dec: "I've had a great time. It's [been] nearly three weeks in there, I have genuinely loved every minute. I really have. [The jungle] was a lot nicer than I had expected!"

I'm A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV.
