The actor had to be comforted by campmates following Ant & Dec's announcement that Diversity dancer Jordan was the fourth celebrity to be voted out of the jungle.

"That was a bit of a wallop, he is one of the most extraordinary human beings I've ever, ever met in my life. I just love him, he's like another boy of mine, I'm so shocked, I just assumed he would be here and saying goodbye to me," said Larry.

Scarlett Moffatt, Wayne Bridge and Martin Roberts were among the stars who tried to comfort Larry, telling him he'd be seeing Jordan soon enough at the show's wrap part.

"That was a bit of a wallop, he is one of the most extraordinary human beings I've ever, ever met in my life. I just love him, he's like another boy of mine, I'm so shocked, I just assumed he would be here and saying goodbye to me," said Larry.

Scarlett said: "It's sad to see Larry cry because he's Larry and he's strong and my camp dad in here and I never thought it would be me trying to cheer him, he normally tries to cheer all of us up. It was hard seeing how hard he took Jordan leaving."

She added that Jordan's departure had "knocked everyone for six" and left a "massive hole" in the camp as the countdown to the finale gets underway.

Larry wasn't the only celebrity in tears: Wayne and Joel Dommett also got emotional, which surprised Sam Quek. "Don't get me wrong I love Jordan but the boys have taken it hard and are all crying."

"Damn you ITV," said Joel. "Making me so emotional, it's so stupid, I will see him in a few days."

I'm A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV.
