If there's one thing we can all relate to, it's being stuck in an on-off relationship and not knowing whether to follow your head or your heart. Throw a young child and another woman into the mix and things get even more complicated!
But that's exactly what Naomi Konickova has been battling with, all on camera, for Teen Mom UK, and it would be fair to say we've fallen in love with the sassy star.
Not only is Naomi a feisty feminist and a dedicated mum to Kyanna, two, she's also stuck in a love triangle with ex-boyfriend Raphael, 21. The couple, who were together for two years before having Kyanna, broke up four months after the baby was born.
She tells us, 'He was lazy when I was pregnant and we were arguing so much. There seemed no point in putting myself through that stress. I decided we should break up because it wasn't healthy.'
But as Teen Mom UK follows Raphael, he starts dating a new girl, Ines, and there are mixed emotions.
In one episode, Naomi meets up with her and they talk about what a player Raphael is, but then he's suddenly back with Ines and making Naomi go over to her house to pick up Kyanna!
Naomi says, 'I tell myself all the time that I don't like him, but I really think I do. My head is messed up. First loves are always the strongest.'
It's this honesty and openness that makes Naomi so relatable. In fact she's been overwhelmed by the public reaction so far.
She says, 'It's really surreal seeing all the comments coming in from people who are watching the show. I thought they'd hate me because of the whole Ines situation but everyone's being so nice. A lot of girls say they can relate to me, like, "this was me two years ago, so don't worry, you'll get through it." It's so sweet.'
And it isn't all just babies and affairs of the heart as Naomi is also a budding make-up artist and businesswoman.
She says, 'I really want to do something with my make-up artist skills and will start doing tutorials and see where it goes.'
She also hopes the show will help people to see teen mums in a different light.
'There's this stereotype of teenage mums and I want to change that,' she says. 'We have ambitions and we want to make our babies proud.'
One thing is for sure, no matter what happens with her love life, the only way is up for Naomi!
Teen Mum UK continues Wednesdays at 8pm, only on MTV
