She's made no secret of the fact she's looking for love, and now The X Factor's Honey G has suggested she'd quite like to be part of a celebrity couple.

The 35-year-old rapper from North London, who was eliminated from The X Factor on Sunday, told Daily Star she'd be open to dating a fellow celebrity.

Honey G said: "I'm still single and looking for love. I'm looking for someone to have kids with. I want to have kids very soon and settle down. I still haven't found a long-term partner. But I'm hoping to maybe pair off with a celebrity."

The ambitious musician, real name Anna Georgette Gilford, had spoken frequently during her time X Factor about wanting a steady relationship and family.

"I want to have kids really soon; settle down and have children soon, but I don't want to have kids on my own. I obviously want to find a long term partner," she said before the first live show.

"I don't really want to say too much about it as I'm obviously focused on the competition right now. I'm looking for love and would like to find a partner before I consider having children, and hopefully at some stage have marriage as well."

Honey also told Heat magazine: "I tried Tinder, but I came off it. I'm not f**king about, I'm looking for something serious. There are a couple of celebs I have my eye on. Hopefully the X Factor will draw me to someone I could love."

The rapper's time on X Factor came to an end at the weekend, when the judges chose to send her home after a sing off against 5 After Midnight.

However, she's remaining positive about her future, saying she believes she has the ambition and talent to be as globally famous as One Direction and sell millions of records.

She's also hopeful to sign a deal with Simon Cowell's record label, Syco, although he's said no talks about signing X Factor finalists happen until after the show has ended, as Syco's focus is the winner, who gets a guaranteed contract.

X Factor continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV.
