The feisty music manager told The Sun that she was fed up with allegations she was drinking while judging The X Factor, saying it's 100 per cent untrue.
"It really pisses me off because the thing is, this isn't University Challenge," said Sharon. "We're in the music industry. You're meant to have a good time, be entertained, have a laugh."
"Just because I'm not dead serious and on the ball like this it's like, please, get a life. Just because somebody is having a good time, do they have to be drunk because you're a sad f**k and need to get loaded to have a good time? I don't."
It's not the first time Sharon has hit out at negative comments.
Back in October, she told the other panellists on her US chatshow The Talk: "Why is it when you're there and you're having fun and you're being silly, do you have to be drunk? Why can you not just have fun? It's an entertainment show. It's entertainment, and it goes out late on a Saturday night."
Host Dermot O'Leary also poked fun at the rumours during a live show, joking: 'Despite what some reports are saying all the judges drank backstage was water… It was just high spirits. Those spirits being vodka, gin and whisky..."
Sharon is heading into the semi finals this weekend with her final act, Saara Aalto, who will battle against Emily Middlemas, 5 After Midnight and Matt Terry to secure a place in the final.
Chatting to Reveal last week, Saara, 29, said: "Sharon is an amazing mentor. She's in LA but she's texting me every week. She's always there for me and available when I need her. She's very sweet and very supportive."
X Factor continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV with Christmas Week.
