Rice and beans? Really?
Rice and beans is the usual option on the menu when it comes to camp life on I'm A Celeb, but poor Joel has been forced to eat it for the last few days after being put on basic rations.
The campmates have been divided into royals and subjects. While the royals have been given luxury beds, a hot shower and all the food won in the trials, the subjects have to live on rice and beans and serve the royals. No fair, right?
You'd think so, but it turns out Joel is quite a fan of living on rice and beans.
During a live Q&A on I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp, Joel confessed: "I'm really getting into beans and rice, I really love it. I'm quite happy with the beans and rice. I'm slowly getting thinner until I turn into a grain of rice."
He also revealed that he'd get a tattoo of Larry Lamb's face on his shoulder to commemorate his time in the jungle and that he purposely bought pants that were too small for him, to keep out the critters during bushtucker trials.
When Joel was told that the viewers at home had been gagging to ask him a few questions, he joked: "Well, yesterday I was gagging on blended crocodile anus so I understand that feeling."
Fans saw Joel take on Adam Thomas in the Bush Brewery drinking trial in last night's episode to try and steal Adam's royal status and win immunity from the first public vote.
He had to drink a slew of disgusting smoothies including cow's heart and pig's penis. Luverrrly.
Sadly, Joel didn't manage to knock Adam off of throne, and had to return to camp a subject. But, Lisa Snowdon has now got the opportunity to replace Adam in Snake Rock in the latest Gates of Hell trial.
The public had voted for Adam to defend his royal status again, along with Wayne Bridge. Wayne will be taking on Scarlett Moffatt.
I'm A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV.
