The Nightly Show is scheduled to air weeknights at 10pm across eight weeks, with each half hour programme boasting celebrity guests, experts, studio games and topical monologue.
The first host is Britain's Got Talent judge and comedian David Walliams, who said: "I am thrilled to be the first host for this brand new show for ITV."
More celebrity hosts will be announced soon.
Peter Davey, ITV's Head Of Comedy Entertainment said: "We're really excited about launching this bold new show, and delighted that David will kick off what will be an eight week entertainment treat for viewers."
While The Nightly Show airs at 10pm, it will be recorded 'as live' each day at 6pm at a London studio.
Meanwhile, ITV also announced another brand new series this week, The Keith and Paddy Picture Show, in which Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness are joined by celebrity friends as they attempt to recreate iconic movies.
Looks like 2017 is shaping up to be a good TV year, right?
