Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei has admitted she has felt "broody" in the past, but has now realised it's "not the right time" for herself and boyfriend Joel Corry to start a family together.

Sophie and Joel have been dating for four years now and the couple are often quizzed about their plans to settle down. However, Sophie has ruled out having babies and getting wed for now, due to her return to Geordie Shore.

Speaking to new! magazine, Sophie confessed she did get to a point where she wanted to start a family, but Joel had said he "wasn't ready."

She explained: "I did get broody at one point. I told Joel I wanted to have a family and he cried and said he wasn't ready. But, as I've got older, I've realised it isn't the right time.

"How could I be on Geordie Shore with a kid? Or be somebody's wife? It'd be embarrassing."

It's not the first time Sophie has said she won't be settling down just yet.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Sophie insisted she and Joel are very loved-up, but you won't see her with a ring on her finger anytime soon.

The reality star claimed: "I'm not into getting engaged and f**king babies and all that sh*t yet... we just live in a world now where there's more to life really than settling down straight away."

As for Joel, Sophie exclusively told us that he has been "so supportive" about her decision to return to Geordie Shore.

She said: "Joel is so supportive. Me and Joel were on holiday at the time and I got a phone call saying they wanted me to go over and [join the cast], I think they wanted me to sort all the drama out, and Joel was like, 'Oh my god. Go for it. Go in there Sophie, be the Sophie that everyone loves.'

"Me and Joel are in a very secure relationship. I'm not on Geordie Shore to go and shag every boy. I just bring everyone together and have a right laugh."

Fans have seen Sophie return to Geordie Shore for its thirteenth series. She had been an original on the show, and starred on Geordie Shore for seven series.

She was a late arrival to the cast when they filmed overseas and recently made her comeback on MTV. She was brought in to play peacemaker, but ended up clashing with Gaz Beadle over her BFF Charlotte Crosby.

Sophie found it disrespectful that Gaz had kissed Chantelle Connelly, following Charlotte's exit from the show, and claimed her co-star "doesn't have a heart."

Sophie has also been rumoured for a return to Geordie Shore next series too, after being pictured in Newcastle with her co-stars. It had been claimed that Sophie was 'sent home' from filming after intervening in a row between Chloe Ferry and newcomer Zahida Allen, but reports later alleged Sophie had "no involvement" in the clash.

A rep for Sophie declined to comment when contacted by Reveal.
