Taking to Twitter, Gorka addressed the incident and told his followers: "Thanks for all your kind messages and support about Blackpool. It was a bad experience, but I'm feeling better and just want to look forward to the show on Saturday."

He had been in Blackpool with Strictly over the weekend, as this year's contestants performed live at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
A rep for BBC confirmed that Gorka had been involved in an "unprovoked attack" following Saturday night's show (19 November) and said in a statement: "Gorka was sadly the victim of an unprovoked incident in Blackpool on Saturday night but he will be back in training this week and is looking forward to the group routine next weekend."
The Sun, meanwhile, claimed that the professional dancer was approached by a group of youths after heading out in Blackpool with friends.
It's alleged Gorka was punched and had two teeth knocked out. According to BBC News, he'll have dental surgery to fix the damage on Monday.
Gorka is currently starring on this year's series of Strictly and had been partnered with EastEnders actress Tameka Empson. They were eliminated in week three of the competition, with Tameka admitting following her exit that she felt like she and Gorka had more to give.
Fans also saw Gorka dance with Anastacia. He replaced her partner Brendan Cole, when he was advised to rest, and Gorka will also star in Strictly's Christmas special.
