I'm A Celebrity latecomer Danny Baker has claimed the jungle is "too soft" and he thinks life in camp should be made more difficult.

Famous last words, perhaps?

Radio and TV presenter Danny has entered the I'm A Celeb jungle as a late arrival, along with Homes Under The Hammer host Martin Roberts, but it sounds like he isn't too phased about giving up his life of luxury.

Speaking to Vicky Pattison on I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp before making his jungle debut, Danny claimed: "I actually think the jungle is too soft. I think it should be harder."

Vicky, who is speaking from experience as the reigning Queen of the jungle, replied: "What?! You wait until you get in there and you're hungry, you're tired and you've got a spider in your bum."

"Spiders don't bother me at all," Danny hit back.

He said he thinks his fellow campmates are a "very like-able bunch", but he is willing to play villain during his stint in camp.

Danny added: "You do need a few villains. Maybe I'll provide that?"

He also hedged his bets for himself to win and told Vicky: "I also think it's about time a bald man won [the show]," before joking: "I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm going skin on top."

Back in the Extra Camp studio, guest Andi Peters predicted Danny is going to "stir things up" in camp.

He said: "I think Danny is going to stir things up. I think that's in his nature - which isn't a bad thing because we as viewers want to see all sides to te campmates not just the nice, happy camp. We want to see who will flip."

"I genuinely think it is lovely to see them all go in and have a nice time, but at some point I want to see someone flip," Andi said. "I'm convinced Carol [Vorderman] will flip at some stage."

I'm A Celebrity airs nightly on ITV.
