It has now been claimed that Sophie Kasaei HASN'T actually been axed from Geordie Shore, as she had "absolutely nothing to do with" Chloe Ferry's clash with show newcomer Zahida Allen.

Reports had claimed Sophie had intervened in a row between Chloe and Zahida, prompting show bosses to send her home from filming for Geordie Shore's new series.

However, a source close to the reality star has now insisted the claims are not true.

They told The Sun: "Sophie hasn't been axed... She's horrified to have been implicated in this row. She had absolutely nothing to do with it."

When contacted by Reveal a rep for Sophie declined to comment. We have also contacted a spokesperson for MTV.

Reports Sophie hasn't been 'axed' from Geordie Shore come after it was claimed Chloe Ferry is 'no longer' filming with the cast for series fourteen.

She is believed to have clashed with new girl Zahida over their co-star Marty McKenna, but reports are divided when it comes to what actually happened between the two girls.

Some sources claim Chloe had 'kicked Zahida', while others deny she had kicked her, but claim Chloe did confront the newcomer.

MTV declined to comment on Chloe, we have also contacted Chloe's rep.

Chloe wasn't pictured with the rest of her co-stars while they filmed recently in Newcastle and neither was Sophie.

Sophie had returned to Geordie Shore during series 13 of the show (currently airing on MTV), but it was never confirmed whether she is back on the show for good. Although, her presence during filming for the new series recently suggests fans will be seeing her back on their screens.

She was an original on Geordie Shore and first starred on the show when it debuted in 2011. Sophie appeared for seven series, before being axed for alleged 'offensive behaviour'.

Prior to filming for series 13, fans got to see Sophie back on the show for Geordie Shore's Big Birthday Battle series in May, earlier this year. She had joined a slew of old faces, including Jay Gardner and James Tindale, for the show's anniversary special.
