Speaking to The Mirror, Bob revealed that eight funnel web spiders (the world's most dangerous spider) have been found in one of the camera hides close to camp.

He said: "The funnel web's are the most dangerous spider in the world. There is an anti-venom, and of course, none of the celebs have ever been bitten by them," before admitting: "A couple of crew have been bitten in the past."

"This year in one of the camera hides we found eight," Bob said. "That's the most we've ever found in one day."

Eek!

It's not the first time Bob has spoken out about the funnel web spider, as the medic revealed to I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp presenter Chris Ramsey that they do pop up in camp now and again.

In the latest episode of the spinoff show, Bob had been doing a show and tell when it comes to the creepy crawlies the celebrities could be faced with and said: "We find most of these actually in the camp. If you get bitten by one of these, you'll know it. It's like two red hot pokers going into the skin.

"Then you radio or phone me," Bob told Chris. He replied: "I feel like they're all over my body, man!"

So far, viewers have only seen one critter in camp and that was a toad. Carol Vorderman couldn't sleep and entertained us all by having a conversation with the toad to pass the time while her campmates were snoozing.

Of course, there were also the 120,000 (!!!) critters used within the first bushtucker trial too. Scarlett Moffatt, Ola Jordan, Sam Quek and Jordan Banjo were the first celebrities to try and earn meals for the camp in the Tomb of Torment.

They had to lie down in the confined space for ten minutes while joined by cockroaches, spiders, rats and meal worms to name a few.

Despite a LOT of screaming and a shaky rendition of the Spice Girls, the campers successfully lasted the time in the tomb and took home 10 stars.

Camp will now be relying on Scarlett to bring home the bacon yet again, as she has been voted by the public to take part in the show's latest trial with Carol Vorderman. They'll be eating jungle delicacies in the Big Bush Bake Off.

I'm A Celebrity continues on Wednesday 16 November on ITV.
