Speaking on the first-ever episode of I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp, new co-host Vicky mused: "Does anyone else think he looks a bit like an aged Harry Potter? I think he's a sort!"

Former EastEnders and Gavin & Stacey actor Larry, 69, kicked off his jungle experience with a bit of heroics after helping teammate Scarlett Moffat, 26, who had become trapped in the centre of a swampy lake. Channelling his inner James Bond, the star dove into the lake to rescue Scarlett and help her to shore.

Viewers also noted how Larry was the perfect gentleman throughout the episode with gestures like helping Scarlett out of the helicopter and making sure she was okay throughout their challenge.

Needless to say, everyone was rather impressed!

During a discussion on Extra Camp, all four presenters - Vicky, Joe Swash, Stacey Solomon, Chris Ramsey - couldn't help praising Larry's attitude and actions during the episode.

Joe pointed out: "My granddad is only about four years older than him and can't even get in the bath let alone jump in [a lake]... If you get to the age of 70 and can still rock the sex symbol, you are an absolute legend."

Stacey added: "He is such a gorgeous man."

I'm A Celebrity continues 9pm on ITV.
