In Wednesday night's series finale, we'll see Chloe approaching Megan to discuss the fallout from Megan's outrage over Pete posing with lingerie-clad models for a new advertising campaign.
Chloe defends Pete's actions and tries to convince Megan that by reacting the way she did, she may push Pete away forever.
That echoes what Chloe wrote in her latest column for Star magazine, which read: "I couldn't believe it when Megan kicked off on Twitter after seeing Pete's Ann Summers campaign photos.
"She shouldn't be jealous of the girls he's posing with – they're models, and who's to say they'd be interested in Pete anyway? I was with them the night before it happened and they seemed really happy. It's a real shame Megan had to make it public again.
"Poor Pete. I feel sorry for him."
On the last episode of TOWIE, viewers saw Megan livid after seeing photos of Pete surrounded by models in their underwear. She felt it was disrespectful to their relationship and accused Pete of telling her the images were PG when she felt they were explicit.
"To be honest, this picture looks more than PG, it's too raunchy," said Megan.
"They were taken when we were together. I think that's disrespectful to our relationship. Can you imagine if that was the other way around? I wouldn't have done that because I have respect. He obviously has none."
Megan was particularly upset as she's still trying to move on from Pete's betrayal: six months into their romance, he was caught sexting other women. Since then, he's been trying to win Megan's trust back, so the sexy photos were a setback.
Pete defended the photoshoot in the last episode, saying his hands had been in his pockets, he wasn't looking at the models and it had just been a job. "You're making out I've done something again and I haven't!" he said.
TOWIE continues Wednesday at 10pm on ITVBe.
