Writing in her weekly column for Star magazine, Chloe said: "I couldn't believe it when Megan kicked off on Twitter after seeing Pete's Ann Summers campaign photos.
"She shouldn't be jealous of the girls he's posing with – they're models, and who's to say they'd be interested in Pete anyway? I was with them the night before it happened and they seemed really happy. It's a real shame Megan had to make it public again.
"Poor Pete. I feel sorry for him."
Megan tweeted and deleted several messages about Pete's new Ann Summers campaign, which he did alongside TOWIE co-star James 'Lockie' Lock.
The issue also arose in the latest episode of TOWIE, when Megan told her parents she felt disrespected by the steamy campaign and that Pete hadn't been truthful about the content of the photos.
"It's a job he's done, some modelling thing, he told me the pictures were PG," said Megan. "To be honest, this picture looks more than PG, it's too raunchy. They were taken when we were together. I think that's disrespectful to our relationship. Can you imagine if that was the other way around? I wouldn't have done that because I have respect. He obviously has none."
The photos were a blow to Megan as she's been trying to come to terms with Pete betraying her by sexting other women. Six months into their relationship, she found out he'd been sending saucy texts to other ladies behind her back.
Pete's been trying to win her back, but Megan has been taking things slowly as the trust needs to be rebuilt: she said Pete not coming clean about the nature of his campaign wasn't great when she's trying to learn to trust him again.
Meanwhile, Pete admitted to the boys: "The pictures aren't exactly what you want to see. If it was the other way around, her with a load of geezers, I wouldn't want to see it… It is what it is and it's put another spanner in the works."
Megan and Pete later came face to face at a birthday lunch thrown for Pete by Megan's parents, where Megan told him: "Pete, you keep lying. You told me half the story."
She accused Pete of not sending her all the Ann Summers photos, neglecting to let her see the sexy one that angered her. Pete, however, pointed out there would be no point him trying to hide a campaign image that would be everywhere. He also said his hands are in his pockets in the picture and he's just standing there.
"You're looking at her t*its," accused Megan.
"I wasn't," retorted Pete.
Megan, however, told Pete he was disrespecting her in the picture and she'd never do that to him. Pete argued it was a job for a good campaign and added: "You're making out I've done something again and I haven't!"
The episode ended with Pete leaving lunch early, so we'll have to tune into the next episode - Wednesday at 10pm on ITVBe - to find out what happens next.
