Last week, West Ham player Andy was reportedly threatened by armed bikers while driving home from training and then followed for 20 minutes as he fled back to the club's ground.
The robbers were said to have pulled up alongside his £100,000 Mercedes at traffic lights in east London before threatening Andy for his £28,000 Audemars Piguet watch.
Richard Douglas, director of Chaperone K9, has since told The Sun On Sunday that Andy and Billi have ordered two Italian Cane Corsos mastiff dogs worth at least £30,000 for protection.
"Footballers are obviously targeted individuals. They want something that when they go away will keep their family safe," he said.
Billi has not mentioned the incident directly on social media, however she has told fans of the "long week" she and Andy have endured.
Sharing a picture of herself and her fiancé kissing in front of a fire pit, the Bikram yoga instructor said: "It's been a long week of ups and downs but finishing the week on a high with my boys #BirthdayWeek #2YearsSinceWeGotEngaged #LoveYouMoreThanEver @andytcarroll."
Billi and Andy are parents to son Arlo, one. The couple got engaged after Andy flew Billi to Rome for her birthday in 2014.
