Former Hollyoaks star Stephanie is expecting her first baby and was admitted to hospital last Wednesday (2 November), where she received treatment for an "illness", her spokesman confirmed.
Although she has not revealed what was wrong, Stephanie has now spoken out herself and told her followers that she is home and feeling better.
In an Instagram post, Stephanie said: "Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know I'm home and finally on the mend. Thank you so much for all your lovely messages and continued support over the last week. It really means a lot."
The Celebrity Big Brother star signed off her message: "Love always, Stephanie and Bump."
Stephanie is pregnant with a baby boy and is due to give birth in early 2017. The mum-to-be insists her former CBB co-star Jeremy McConnell is the father and, although he initially denied it, he has agreed to take a paternity test once he is born.
Following her hospital admission, Steph stayed silent on social media, which sparked rumours that she had given birth prematurely.
However, before she was released, her spokesman had said: "We can confirm Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests.
"We would like to confirm that Stephanie has not given birth and her unborn baby boy is doing well."
Steph has again been inundated with messages of support from fans since speaking out. One well-wisher said: "Glad everything is ok and you are both doing well." Another commented: "Fantastic news Steph, so happy you are feeling better, we have all been worried about you, take care of yourself and stay well."
