Honey G is going on tour!

Dermot O'Leary broke the news on Sunday night's results show that the final eight acts in the competition would all be heading off on tour. Cue huge excitement because everyone wants to make it far enough on the show to get on the tour!

The finalists on tour are:

Honey G
Matt Terry
Sam Lavery
Five After Midnight
Saara Aalto
Four of Diamonds
Ryan Lawrie
Emily Middlemas

It does mean that Gifty Louise just missed out on a spot on tour as she was eliminated last weekend in ninth place…. But could she still join?

Last year, a twist on X Factor saw the judges choosing one eliminated act to join the tour. The year before, eliminated act Paul Akister was allowed to join the tour in his native Manchester despite missing out on a spot in the original lineup.

The 'X Factor Live Tour 2017' starts in February 23 and travels across the UK and Ireland until 16 March. The finalists will perform a mix of songs they performed on X Factor and their favourite tracks.

The full tour dates are:

23rd February - Nottingham Motorpoint Arena
24th February - Birmingham Genting Arena
25th February - London The O2 (Matinee and Evening)
26th February - Liverpool Echo Arena
28th February - Aberdeen AECC

1st March - Glasgow Braehead
3rd March - Sheffield Arena
4th March - Manchester Arena (Matinee and Evening)
6th March - Bournemouth International Centre
8th March - Cardiff Motorpoint Arena
10th March - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
13th March - Belfast The SSE Arena
14th March - Dublin 3 Arena
16th March - Brighton Centre

Tickets are available via Ticketmaster and GigsandTours.com.

News about the tour softened the blow of Four of Diamonds' elimination on Sunday night: although they lost out to Saara Aalto in the sing off, they were comforted by the knowledge they'll be on tour last year.

Yasmin said: "Being on the tour was one of our main goals so to make the tour, we're so happy. This experience has been one of the best experiences of our whole lives."

X Factor continues Saturday at 8pm on ITV with Disco Week.
