All in jest, of course, Ed is in fact married! But speaking about her co-star, Laura insisted she and the rest of the Strictly contestants have been having a lot of fun with each other on the show.
They all have one big Whats App group and Laura recalled how Ed had sent her a playful text following her ankle injury.
Laura was unable to perform in week five of Strictly's live shows, after suffering a repetitive strain on her ankle. She was told by doctors to rest up and breaking the news to the others on the show, Laura revealed during an appearance on ITV's Loose Women that Ed had said in response: "I'm available to rub your ankle anytime you want, Laura."
Putting his reply into context, though, Laura pointed out: "I saw one magazine had him in a column of lust, and I said, 'Ed, why aren't you number one?' That's when he messaged back with the ankle rub."
Just a little banter back and forth, you see!
Despite Laura missing out on one of her dances, her place was secured on the show and she returned to Strictly last Saturday (29 October) for its Halloween special. Laura performed the Tango to 'Paint It Black' and landed her highest score yet in the competition. She found herself top of the leaderboard with 36 points, in joint first place with gymnast Claudia Fragapane.
Her appearance on the show came after Laura assured fans she was back in rehearsals, after resting her injury.
She tweeted: "Back to training... I'm quite a bit behind and being careful. But will try my best, guys!"
Laura had also opened up about her ankle injury in a blog on Strictly for Glamour Online. The TV presenter explained she felt a "niggle" but continued to dance on it, before it became swollen. She said: "I thought I should just work through any pain and it would get better. [On day three] I got home and I couldn't walk up the steps to my front door. My whole right ankle was three times the size of my left. I freaked out!"
Meanwhile, Anastacia was the sixth celebrity to leave Strictly. She went head-to-head with Daisy Lowe in the dance off, and the judges voted unanimously to save Daisy's place on the show instead.
Following her exit, Anastacia said it had been "bittersweet" to leave Strictly. Speaking on Loose Women earlier this week, she said: "It's bittersweet, of course. You know it's going to end, but you don't want it to. You're trying to be ok with [going], but at the same time, you're like, 'Wah.'"
