Your mum often pops up in the book – is there anything she'll be surprised by when she reads it?
"Yeah… She might be shocked by the bits where I talk about what we got up to on our lads' holidays. To be honest, she's just happy that I've got a job I'm happy with, where I can make my own money!"
What about your recent confession to sleeping with over 1,000 women?
"I only said that as a guess, I don't really know. I don't count. It's over the course of 12 years, so it's only 100 a year!"
You hit the headlines recently after confessing to funding a one-night stand's abortion…
"This whole thing has got out of hand. I didn't push her into making the decision. She decided she wanted the abortion, and I said, "OK, that's your decision, fair enough.""
What would have happened if she wanted to have the baby?
"If she'd made a different decision, my life would have totally changed. If she'd have wanted to go ahead with it, I would have been supportive."
Why did you decide to include the abortion in your book?
"This kind of thing happens all the time, and people need to know about to deal with it. A lot of boys would just shun the girl, but I was by her side throughout the whole thing, which any lad should do. At the end of the day, it was her decision and her decision alone."
You've also been in the press recently after being spotted with Katie Price – what happened there?
"Nothing! My girlfriend actually knew I was with her that night! I've been friends with her since we met last year at an event. She asked if I knew anywhere good for a sunbed in Newcastle and so I took her and her friend and dropped them back off, but you can't see her friend in the photos because I have tinted windows."
What about the rumours you two went up to her hotel room?
"I was getting ready for a personal appearance that night and had all my stuff with me, so she let me use her hotel suite to change in. There were loads of people there too – her hair and makeup artist, her manager, her agent."
What's going on with Francesca (Toole, Scotty's on-off girlfriend of a year) at the moment?
"We're fine when no one is getting involved. We get on so well when we just spend time together, and that's what we've been doing recently. When we're together, she's got nothing to whinge about! People will text her saying "your lad was with my friend last night," but she knows I was with her. Everyone is out to try and f**k us over. She's got a heart of gold and she's my best friend."
