Michelle Keegan has admitted she is "always broody", but that doesn't mean babies are on the cards for herself and husband Mark Wright just yet.

The Our Girl actress opened up about starting a family while taking to the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards and told The Mirror: "We're not planning anything of yet."

Mark added: "Not yet, not yet," but Michelle did say: "I love children, I've always said that I'm broody."

The couple joked that they are planning plenty more trips to Dubai together before they start a family, after just jetting back from the Middle East last week.

Michelle and Mark had headed to Oman to surprise Michelle's best friend who is currently living out there, before heading to Dubai for a relaxing break in the sunshine together.

Dubai holds a special place in the pair's hearts as it's where Michelle and Mark first met in December 2012, and where Mark proposed nine months later in September 2013.

Mark and Michelle tied the knot in May last year, and after heading off on honeymoon to the Maldives, they returned to Dubai to celebrate their nuptials with family.

On their recent trip to Dubai, Mark and Michelle turned us green with envy with their holiday snaps. While Michelle posed in her bikini, Mark captured an incredible sunset on camera and made sure to show off his bod too!

Gushing about their holiday, Mark told his followers: "Fun in the sun with this one."

Their trip came after fans recently watched Michelle take on the role of army medic Lance Corporal Georgie Lane for the second series of BBC drama Our Girl.

She has since confirmed she'll be returning to the show for series three and told fans once Our Girl had wrapped: "Well, that's an official wrap. One of the most incredible experiences of my life. Thank you so much for your amazing support. I feel so emotional right now. Thank you also to the amazing people I was lucky enough to work with on this special project. Here's to series 3!!!"
