X Factor couple Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie looked cute as pie as they attended this year's Pride Of Britain Awards together.

Singers Emily and Ryan, who started dating before appearing alongside each other on The X Factor, were snapped on the red carpet at the glamorous event.

Wearing a 50s-style black skirt teamed with a sweet navy crop top, Emily was all smiles as she posed for pictures next to her beau. Towering over him slightly, she opted for silver heels and wore her hair down in a simple style, with two strands pinned back.

Ryan, meanwhile, looked smart but cool in a suit and black Vans trainers, and he proudly placed his arm around Emily's waist while the cameras flashed away. Adorable!

While at the event, held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, Ryan posed for a selfie with Emily and told his fans how excited they were to be there.

Posting the picture on Twitter, he gushed: "Amazing to be at @PrideOfBritain awards tonight! so many incredible people in the world."

The X Factor has been an exciting but tough ride for the sweethearts, as Ryan has found himself in the bottom three during the live shows three times. Each time, he has been saved by the viewers' flash vote.

Following Sunday's show, Ryan pleaded with fans to realise he is simply "doing what he loves". In a lengthy Instagram post, he said: "For those who have just got to know me on The X Factor. I am not just some boy who jumps around and is trying to become 'famous'. I am here for a reason and that reason is to make a career in music."

He continued: "I am NOT the strongest singer in the competition and I know that I'm probably (most likely) not going to win, but what I can say is I am a human being with a dream and I am trying to make it become a reality.

"I am a songwriter. That is my first love and my main passion. I have been writing since I was a young boy and that is where my talent is. I am a loving and genuine boy. I wish the [best] for everyone. I just wish people would understand that I'm just doing what I love.

"Thanks for the love and support. Lots of love, Ryan."

The X Factor continues this weekend on ITV1.
