Last Saturday (22 October), Laura was forced to pull out of her live performance on the show, after being advised to rest by doctors. Laura revealed she had felt a "niggle" while rehearsing, but battled through the pain until it worsened and her ankle inflamed two days later.
Now, she has confirmed she is dancing again, but is taking it easy to prevent doing any more damage.
Back at rehearsals, Laura took to an Instagram with an update for her followers and it seems she is feeling positive, despite her ankle being all taped up.
Laura captured a photo of her ankle bandaged up and surrounded by various means to help aid its recovery. Not only was she sporting tape on her legs, but she had an ice pack and foam roller to hand too.
Alongside her photo, Laura said: "You are stronger than you think..."
Her post saw her inundated with comments from fans, wishing her a speedy recovery and Laura isn't giving up just yet.
The TV presenter confirmed she is back practicing her routine with her partner Giovanni Pernice on Twitter and told fans on Wednesday (26 October): "Back to training... I'm quite a bit behind and being careful. But will try my best, guys!"
Laura was forced to miss last week's live performance due to doctors advising her to rest her ankle, but her place in the dancing competition was secured.
She addressed her injury in her blog with Glamour Online and revealed: "I got home and I couldn't walk up the steps to my front door. My whole right ankle was three times the size of my left. I freaked out!"
Prior to her injury, Laura had danced the Quickstep with Giovanni on Strictly and the duo were given their highest score yet throughout the series.
On Saturday (29 October), Laura and Giovanni will be dancing the Tango to 'Paint It Black' by the Rolling Stones.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday 29 October on BBC One.
