Gaz Beadle has spoken to Reveal about his plans to leave Geordie Shore, admitting that as he gets older, he has been thinking about the "next stage" in his life.

The reality star has been a part of Geordie Shore since it first aired on MTV back in 2011, and he has often said that he'll hang up his boots and bid farewell to the show when he turns 30.

We asked Gaz if he plans to stand by that and he exclusively told us: "You can't be on Geordie Shore at 29 or 30 drinking jagerbombs and getting excited about booze cruises. My mum would be like, 'Come on now Gary, you're 30.'"

Gaz said: "I just think if I stay on there another two series, my whole twenties has been spent on Geordie Shore - which is amazing, but it comes to a point where you think, 'Next stage, now.' You can't be excited to go out on a student night..."

He did add, however, that he has no immediate plans to leave the show, so we'll still be seeing Gaz on Geordie Shore for a little longer.

"I wouldn't leave anytime soon," he added. "I would do a few more [series]."

Gaz's admission comes after Aaron Chalmers revealed he, like Gaz, is seriously thinking about leaving the show when he hits the big Three-0.

Aaron recently revealed in an interview with On Demand Entertainment: "For my 30th I'm going to go to Vegas and then that's it. I'm going to hang up my drinking goggles. I'm serious. I might bow out at 30. Just say we film through my birthday, I'll do that one and then that's it."

Aaron had joined the Geordie Shore cast in 2014 for series eight.

As well as the boys, fans may be losing Holly Hagan too.

Reports have claimed that Holly has left the show, after thirteen series. While Holly has neither confirmed or denied the rumours, she has hinted she may not be back for the next series of Geordie Shore when filming starts up again in a few weeks time.

Addressing the speculation, Gaz told us he would be "sad to see her leave."

"Obviously Holly is an original. I've watched her like grow up," he said. "I've watched her transform, her hair has been 9000 colours! I've watched her go through things with Kyle [Christie] and watched her back when she was getting with [Scotty T]... she's been through a lot with me as well. Of course, I'd be sad to see her leave."

For now, though, Holly is currently starring on Geordie Shore's new series with Aaron and Gaz on MTV. It kicked off on Tuesday (25 October) and this time round, the Geordie gang have headed overseas to Magaluf.

Of course, their trip wasn't without drama and on their very first night, Holly broke down over rumours Chloe Ferry had slept with her ex Kyle. This was just a rumour, though, and Chloe made sure to clear up that there was no truth to the claims.

Chloe also clashed with Chantelle Connelly over Scott, and Marnie Simpson's romance with Aaron is still proving to be just as complicated as usual!

Geordie Shore continues Tuesday 1 November at 10pm on MTV.
