Viewers will know that winners of The X Factor are given their first single, which is usually a cover and released in time to bag the Christmas number one.
Louisa recorded 'Forever Young', but failed to secure the top spot as it reached number nine in the charts instead. And now, the 18-year-old has said she never thought her track was going to do that well...
Although, let's just point out that she did still get a top ten single. That's a pretty good effort, no?
Speaking to The Sun, Louisa said: "I didn't really get with [the single] that much. Everyone knows it wasn't the best song. I didn't really like it, but it was just one of those things."
Louisa has since took on the charts once again after collaborating with Clean Bandit on 'Tears' and is now gearing up to release her brand new single, 'So Good'.
'So Good' will be her debut original solo single since winning The X Factor last year and tweeting about her track, Louisa shared her excitement with fans over its release on Friday (28 October).
Louisa tweeted: "SO DAMN EXCITED to announce my brand new single 'So good' will be out FRIDAY! 28.10.16."
Fans will also see her return to The X Factor this Sunday (30 October) to perform her new song.
Louisa confirmed her appearance in another tweet that read: "Buzzing to be back on @TheXFactor next sunday with my new track! #Sogood."
During her time on the show, she was mentored by Rita Ora and had beaten Cheryl's act Reggie N Bollie in the final to secure herself a record deal with Simon Cowell's label, Syco.
