Charlotte announced her decision to quit Geordie Shore back in June this year, after publicly falling out with Gary over the breakdown of their relationship. They had been trying to give their relationship a go, but Charlotte finally put an end to things following Gaz's decision to return to Ex On The Beach for its fifth series.
At the time of her exit, Charlotte told fans she wanted to "distance" herself from Gaz, but he insisted she couldn't blame him for her leaving and suggested the pair both needed to "move on."
While Gary returned to Geordie Shore filming for series 13, Charlotte didn't, and now he has exclusively told Reveal what it was like being on the show without her.
Charlotte and Gary had both joined Geordie Shore when it first aired back in 2011, and had starred on the show for five years together. This is the first series Gaz has filmed without Charlotte, and he said: "It was weird."
Gaz explained: "My best memories in that house and my funniest times were with Charlotte. When I see Marnie and Aaron together, or Marty and Chloe, I'm like, 'Oh, I've got no one in the house anymore.' Or when everyone is doing something stupid, I can imagine what she'd be doing."
"In that environment, I've got so used to her being there," he added. "She's a massive miss, obviously."
Fans had been hooked on Charlotte and Gaz's complicated relationship on the show, which had a history of being very on and off. Filming Geordie Shore as a single guy for the first time in a few series, and not having Charlotte there either, Gary admitted it had been "strange."
"In the past when I have pulled, it cause a stir," he told us. "It was like, 'You've upset Charlotte, you've made her cry, you've made her do this...' It was weird pulling and having no one to answer to, or anyone upset.
"I was like, 'I'm not getting a hard time off anyone, it's quite weird.' Everyone definitely missed her."
Fans last saw Charlotte on Geordie Shore's Big Birthday Battle series, where Gaz had told her he was ready to commit to her for good. He pulled out all the stops to prove to Charlotte he wanted to be with her, but Charlotte ended up drunkenly kissing Marty McKenna - which ultimately put a stop to things.
After a heartfelt speech about Gary in front of everyone, though, Charlotte managed to get things back on track and she and Gaz pursued a relationship following filming.
The pair never made things exclusive, though, and Charlotte called time on their romance when she heard Gaz had slept with Jem Lucy while filming for Ex On The Beach. It later came to light that Charlotte had suffered an ectopic pregnancy - hence why she struggled to forgive Gaz for his antics.
He, however, claimed he slept with Jem before he found out about Charlotte's hospitalisation, and Charlotte had told him to continue filming for the show as he was under contract.
The pair later fell out when Charlotte went public with the pregnancy, as Gary claimed they had planned to keep things private. She, however, accused Gary of not owning up to his part in the breakdown of their relationship and decided to quit Geordie Shore to put some space between them.
At the time, Charlotte told fans leaving Geordie Shore was the "toughest decision." She has since ruled out a reconciliation between herself and Gary, while he has admitted the pair no longer speak.
While Charlotte is now dating Big Brother star Ash Harrison, Gary is in a relationship with model Emma McVey.
Geordie Shore returns Tuesday 25 October at 10pm on MTV.
