The 35-year-old rapper appeared on BBC Radio 1's Breakfast Show on Tuesday morning to play Innuendo Bingo, but ahead of the game, she had time to chat with stand-in host Scott Mills about her career.
"I'm looking for a record contract to launch my career as a rap musician and obviously I entered X Factor because I'm keen on the record deal with Simon Cowell's label, which is Syco," she said.
"Basically, I want to be a multi platinum recording rap music artist and blow up and do global tours and stuff. Blow up like Jay Z, Pharrell or Missy Elliott have. That's the direction I really want to go in. I've had a taste of rap culture and the rap game and I just want more now."
There are several weeks to go until we find out who is in the X Factor final but Honey G is already thinking about what music video she would release if she did win that Syco recording contract prize.
"In terms of my first music video, it's still early days. I haven't really spoken to the production team at Syco or the A&R about releasing my first music video yet. I know the production team and A&R team work really hard so if I do release something with them, it will be pretty mega; it will be a sick piece of material."
Honey G admitted there is some stiff competition among this year's X Factor finalists but she's confident she has what it takes to reach the finale.
"There are some big contenders in the contest and some very good voices remaining in the competition," she said.
"I have a real fighting spirit about me and have always been a very competitive person so of course I want to win and my priority at the moment is making sure I get through every live show. [I haven't been in the bottom three] so far. I'm obviously keen to make it through to the final."
Honey G is this year's most talked about contestant. She's being mentored by Sharon Osbourne in the Over 25s category; as Honey said, she's avoided the bottom three every week and has been winning over the judging panel with her performances each week.
Simon Cowell has called her his guilty pleasure, while mentor Sharon has said she brings the fun and entertainment to the show.
X Factor continues 8pm Saturday on ITV.
