Fans have had a long wait to hear Louisa's solo work, after she triumphed on the 12th series of X Factor in December 2015.
She had a hit with winner's single 'Forever Young' and featured on Clean Bandit's 'Tears', but 'So Good' marks her first original solo offering.
And clearly she's rather excited!
Louisa tweeted on Sunday evening: "SO DAMN EXCITED to announce my brand new single 'So good' will be out FRIDAY! 28.10.16."
Lyrics include: "I wasn't supposed to go out tonight, I should be at home I got work at 9, shouldn't be out here doing what I like, but it feels so good, so good."
Described as a "cinematic and dramatic instant pop classic, showered in soaring strings and with a dark undertone", the song is available via Syco Music from Friday, 28th October.
She'll also perform the track on next week's X Factor results show.
Buzzing to be back on @TheXFactor next sunday with my new track! #Sogood— Louisa Johnson (@louisa) October 23, 2016
'So Good' was penned by songwriters who have written hits for the likes of Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Little Mix and One Direction.
Louisa is the youngest X Factor winner in history, triumphing at just 17 years old under the mentorship of then-judge Rita Ora.
