Taking to Twitter, Chloe shared a quote with her followers that read: "Health is not valued 'til sickness comes." She added the tweet: "Never a truer statement. Grateful."

In another tweet, she said: "Glad it's over and to be on the mend scariest moment of my life."

Chloe's tweets came after she revealed in an interview with The Sun that she had to have her appendix removed.

As reported by the paper, Chloe explained that doctors had initially thought she had ruptured a cyst on her ovary, but later became certain the pain was a result of her appendix.

She said: "The doctors were 100 percent certain that my appendix was about to burst and that I needed to go to theatre because it was life threatening.

"At the time it didn't register that I might die, I had gone from being fine to in so much pain, that I just didn't care about anything other than getting it out."

Following the surgery, doctors had told Chloe her appendix had been hours away from bursting and had a cyst on it. She also had internal bleeding in her pelvis.

Chloe credited her mum, in the interview, for phoning for an ambulance. She had rung her mum after the onset of the pain and was later picked up by paramedics. Chloe explained: "I went to sleep on Friday night as happy as Larry in my world and woke up in an ambulance.

"I will forever be grateful for my mum calling the ambulance... If it wasn't for my mum then I definitely wouldn't be… where I am today. We caught it just in time."

When contacted by Reveal a rep for Chloe had no further comment to make.

Speaking about her ordeal on Twitter, Chloe responded to a fan that revealed they'd had a similar experience. She said: "Awful isn't it so sorry to hear that worse pain in the world."
