In a new video clip, mum-of-one Alesha talks about how ambitious she now is while unveiling two gorgeous shots of three-year-old Azura.
One snap shows the Britain's Got Talent judge holding her little girl high into the air, while Azura can be seen pulling faces with her dad Azuka Ononye and Alesha in another photo.
Speaking to the cameras for AOL and Makers, which boasts the largest collection of inspirational stories from women, Alesha reveals: "I want my daughter to be inspired by me, I want her to look at me and just think, 'My mum proved that if you want something and you work hard for it, that you can achieve it."
She adds: "Today is a gift and I try to enjoy it. For most of my life I was afraid, everything scared me.
"But I've decided to grow a bIg pair and go for it. I love the fact that, at this point in my life, I'm still as ambitious, if not more, than I was when I started out."
Alesha, 38, has come a long way since her first job in a Ladbrokes betting shop. Following a successful four years with girl group Mis-teeq, the star went on to launch her solo career.
In 2007, she won Strictly Come Dancing and she was later made a judge on the BBC One show.
Five years later, Alesha was announced as a judge for Britain's Got Talent. She has now done five series' of the ITV programme and recently appeared on The X Factor as a guest judge for Louis Walsh.
She and Azuka welcomed Azura into the world in September 2013.
