Adele's boyfriend Simon Konecki has just proven he is a HUGE romantic, after surprising her with the sweetest gesture during her Nashville concert.

Adele had been performing live across the pond on her world tour, when her beau decided to honour their five year anniversary in front a thousand (probably more) strong crowd.

You see, to end her show, Adele drops white confetti while singing 'Rolling In The Deep', but Simon decided to switch her usual batch for little pink love notes that had hand written messages on.

We can't even.

The notes included messages like, 'I love you', 'You are an angel', 'Love you long time' and 'Happy Anniversary', and they definitely took Adele surprise as she stopped mid song to tell her audience: "Oh, we've got pink confetti tonight, look at that."

Simon's adorable gesture was a sure fire hit with fans and many took to Twitter to gush over his efforts. One fan commented: "I can't believe Adele's [boyfriend] arranged a confetti surprise, each and every one had a hand written note on it. Oh my god."

Another said: "Adele gets brownie points for those confetti love notes," while one Twitter user joked: "Adele's bf replaced her confetti with love nots and I struggle to get a text back."

Adele and Simon first began dating back in 2011 and announced the following year that they were expecting a baby together.

They now share a son, Angelo, four, who was born on 19 October 2012 and it sounds like they could be expanding their brood, as Adele recently admitted she is feeling broody.

Addressing her fans on stage during another of her concerts, Adele admitted her "womb is starting to ache" for another child. She explained: "My son is about to turn four very, very soon. I'm starting to get very emotional about it because, I feel like once they turn four, they're not really your actual baby anymore."

Adele said: "My womb is starting to ache a little bit. It's like, 'Baby, baby, baby. Need a baby.'"

Although, she did clarify that she is not yet pregnant and won't plan to start trying until she has finished her world tour.

Meanwhile, in other Adele news, the singer's latest album 25 recently became diamond certified - which means it has now surpassed 10 MILLION sales over in America. It's not the first of her albums to do so either, as her album 21 also achieved the same.

Pretty impressive, right?
