Rumours have been circulating for months that Holly's time on the MTV reality show could be up and now, reports are claiming Holly has decided to leave Geordie Shore after thirteen series.
It's alleged she told show producers she wanted to go at the start of October, after being influenced by Charlotte Crosby's exit back in June.
A source told The Sun: "Holly formally told producers she was off earlier this month. She's got her own projects to follow and there's a while new cast that's come in and she's feeling that it's really time to move on."
They added: "Charlotte quitting earlier this year prompted her to do something that she'd been thinking about for a while. Producers have asked her to reconsider, but so far, she's stuck to her guns."
Holly, meanwhile, hasn't yet addressed the reports.
Reveal has contacted a rep for Holly, while a spokesperson for MTV had no comment.
If Holly has decided to hang up her boots, her exit comes after she has starred on thirteen series of Geordie Shore. Holly joined the show back when it first aired on MTV in 2011 and is currently only of of two originals left on the show, along with Gaz Beadle.
In the early days, fans saw Holly struggle to fit in in the house, before becoming close friends with the girls. She enjoyed an on/off romance with her co-star James Tindale and viewers became hooked by her relationship with Kyle Christie when they got together in series nine. They split in series 11 during filming in Greece, and Kyle had left the show early after being given an ultimatum by the rest of the house: he or Holly had to go.
Kyle never returned for series 12, but did reunite with Holly on Geordie Shore's Big Birthday Battle series and will make an appearance on the show in its new series.
News of Holly's rumoured exit comes after the 24-year-old denied rumours she was quitting Geordie Shore to "settle down."
She hit back at the claims on Twitter and said in response: "I'm 24 years old I don't wanna "settle down and start a family" for at least 5 year, I can't even spell in upper case letters yet f**k sake."
While Holly will appear in Geordie Shore's new series when it returns at the end of October, she has often spoke about moving on from the show.
In September, Holly rubbished more reports that she had quit Geordie Shore and then 'begged producers to come back', but did hint she may not return for series fourteen.
Holly told Star magazine: "To clarify, I'm in series 13, I always have been. I've never changed my mind and begged to come back. However, big things happen at the end of series 13 and whether I'll be in series 14 is another matter."
And, fuelling speculation further, Holly recently hinted to her social media followers that she has had enough of being in the limelight.
She tweeted: "I have to force myself to tweet/Instagram/snapchat when you've shared your life with people for this long privacy is priceless."
