TOWIE's Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks have both spoken about their emotional meeting at the end of the last episode where Pete begged Megan to forgive him for texting women behind her back.

Megan, 24, was left heartbroken when it emerged her boyfriend of seven months, Pete, 27, had sent explicit messages to other ladies, including his ex-girlfriend Jacqui Ryland.

She said she'd been hurt, heartbroken and embarrassed.

At the end of Sunday's episode, Megan told Pete she couldn't understand how he was telling her that he loved her while texting other women. He suggested he was "scared" of the power she had over him, but Megan didn't buy that.

Pete told Megan he was convinced he could fix their relationship if she gave him a chance, while Megan told Pete she loved him but wasn't sure if she could ever trust him again.

They've both spoken separately about how they're feeling right now.

Megan told the TOWIE website she felt really confused.

Speaking to the TOWIE official website, Megan said: "I feel sad; I just feel like I'm going through all the emotions. As much as he's completely hurt me and broken my trust, I just hate this whole situation. I can't turn my feelings off. I absolutely love him and I just think time is the only thing that can help right now."

Megan went on to question whether Pete has been telling the truth about why he text other women – that he was scared of how much he loved Megan.

"Is he telling me the truth? Because I feel like I've been through seven months of lies. I think that's what will be hard for me. If I was to forgive him, I just don't know if I will ever believe him.

"Sometimes massive things have to happen for the person to realise… then I think, if he did really love me why would he do this in the first place? I'm just so confused."

Pete told the TOWIE website he wants to win Megan back.

Pete, meanwhile, said he's determined he will make it up to Megan and make her realise how much he loves her and how stupid a mistake it was to text other women.

"I genuinely think I can make [her] happy again and [give her] what [it] should have been from the beginning; I should have let my guard down from the beginning," he said, echoing what he told Megan during their meeting.

"It's killing me seeing her. I'm not used to being around her and not being with her. There will be days when she hates me, days when maybe she wants to try and make it work. I don't know. For me, it doesn't matter what day it is, it will be the same for me.

"I want her back and will do what I can to get her back. I have to take the sh*t days with the good days and take all of that just to be with her."

Pete added he was surprised when Megan told him during their conversation that she still loved him, but said: "It doesn't really change too much because I still hurt her and humiliated her and f**ked up at the end of the day.

"I just hope her still loving me is enough for her to believe I still love her and will do anything to get her back."

TOWIE airs Wednesdays and Sundays at 10pm on ITVBe.
