Aaron Chalmers has revealed he is planning to "bow out of Geordie Shore" when he turns 30 years old... and, unluckily for us, that means next year.

The reality star had been discussing his future on the MTV reality show and claimed that he doesn't think he can still be starring on Geordie Shore when he reaches the big three zero.

In an interview with YouTube channel On Demand Entertainment (ODE), Aaron, along with Holly Hagan and Chloe Ferry, had been asked what they would like to be doing when they turn 30. Aaron quipped: "Ask me, I'm 30 next year."

He then revealed: "For my 30th I'm going to go to Vegas and then that's it. I'm going to hang up my drinking goggles."

Holly joked: "You can't be in the show when you're 30," prompting Aaron to say: "I'm serious. I might bow out at 30. Just say we film through my birthday, I'll do that one and then that's it."

Aaron had joined Geordie Shore back in 2014 for series eight. He entered the house along with Kyle Christie and while he initially set his sights on Holly Hagan (they had slept together at a Geordie Shore house party in the past), he then became known for his on/off relationship with Marnie Simpson.

He may not be the only Geordie favourite fans will have to bid goodbye too, as Gaz Beadle has often spoken of his plans to retire from the show and move to Australia. 28-year-old Gaz, like Aaron, has said he is planning on leaving Geordie Shore behind when he turns 30.

According to The Mirror, Gaz has said: "I'm 28 now so I've got another year of this and then I'm off. It's time I quit reality TV. I have been doing it for six years. I can't be arsed with it any more. I always said I wouldn't be doing it when I was 30."

For now, though, the boys are *still* on our screens and both Gary and Aaron will return for Geordie Shore's thirteenth series. It hits MTV on 25 October and fans will get to see the gang head overseas to different party resorts in Europe.

This will be the first series without Charlotte Crosby, as she decided to quit Geordie Shore at the start of June, and in a sneak peek at the first episode, Gaz can be seen discussing Charlotte's absence.

Reflecting on the breakdown of their relationship (Charlotte told fans she had left to 'distance' herself from Gary), he said: "I am single, but all the Charlotte drama is still a bit raw to me... I couldn't have done any more to get with that girl. I 100 percent wanted to get with that girl. If it was going to work, it would have been then."

Geordie Shore returns Tuesday 25 October at 10pm on MTV.
