The 25-year-old appeared on the first series of The Only Way Is Essex back in 2010 but left three years later to pursue other projects, including her hugely successful Results with Lucy fitness brand.
We've really missed her on screen, however, so when we caught up with her last week we had to ask whether she'd ever consider coming back…
And the answer was good news!
Lucy told us she would think about a return if it involved her close friend Lydia, who has been going through a tough patch lately after splitting from on-off boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent then sleeping with him during a drunken night in Marbella which she called a mistake.
"I'd go back to TOWIE," said Lucy. "If I was asked [to return] and it was something to do with Lydia – good or bad – then I'd consider it because that would be important to me."
She added: "[TOWIE] is a lot of bitching and a lot of heartbreak. I definitely don't miss it that much!"
If Lucy did return, it would echo what Lydia did for her back in 2013: at that stage, Lydia had left the show and Lucy was still part of the cast. Lucy had been going through a difficult time following her split from Mario Falcone and news that then-love interest Dan Osborne's ex was expecting a baby, so Lydia popped up to give her some advice and cuddles.
Lucy has told us in the past that Lydia's the only person who could make her return, saying in 2014: "She'll always say 'please come back!'... if something big happened with her storyline wise, I think I could be convinced to come back."
And Lydia's mum Debbie would no doubt be thrilled as she tweeted last year: "There always seems to be something missing for me on #TOWIE and I realise now what it is ! I so miss seeing my @lucy_meck xxx."
