Irish singer Mary found fame on the ITV singing show aged 50 and hoped to be able to give up her job as a Tesco checkout assistant to become a singer.
Well, despite being voted out in the semi-finals, she got her wish!
Mary is now sporting a glamorous blonde hairdo and is touring the UK with the musical stage production Sixties n Love. She has also released three albums.
And if that's not enough, she has already met this year's X Factor contestants, including Honey G!
X Factor judge Louis Walsh warned Mary that "Tesco could be in trouble" after she wowed the panel with her rendition of Tom Jones' 'I Who Have Nothing' at her first audition.
It appears Louis was right!
