In an interview with ITV, the duo (made up of Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro) were asked who they wanted to see come out on top and Bradley revealed: "Matt Terry. From the day we first saw him."

Following Matt's first live performance, he has been dubbed the favourite to win this year. Matt, who is mentored by Nicole Scherzinger, sang his own rendition of 'You Don't Own Me.'

Commenting on his performance, Simon Cowell had told Matt: "I liked you, then I didn't like you, I didn't get you and now I love you again. I thought the vocal was outstanding."

Louis Walsh, meanwhile, claimed it was the "performance of the night."

After The X Factor aired on Saturday night (8 October), Matt had tweeted: "THAT FELT SOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOME !!! OOOOOOHHH MAAAAAN."

Bratavio, meanwhile, were first to fall on the live shows and found themselves being given the boot by the judges, after landing in the bottom two alongside Saara Alto.

Speaking about their exit, Ottavio said: "Literally the whole world came crushing down. It was horrible, because we have given so much to the competition. I don't think the show will ever see anybody like us again."

He and Bradley had appeared on The Xtra Factor following the result and told host Rylan-Clark Neal that they had expected to go. In fact, Bradley revealed that Ottavio had already had his bags packed.

Now, the boys are looking to forge a career in TV presenting and have said they would love to appear on Big Brother.

During an appearance on ITV's Lorraine, Ottavio said: "We'd like to do Big Brother. We'd potentially like a presenting career, if it comes."
