Sam reached out to her followers and admitted she had been nervous about the response, no doubt given the mixed reaction she and boyfriend Paul Knightley received following their one-off documentary The Baby Diaries.
Paul had been seen kissing his mother Gaynor on the lips in the show earlier this year and the peck hit the headlines and took social media by storm.
But taking to Twitter following last night's launch episode, which was the first of a six-part series, Sam said: "I have been soo nervous about tonight...Thank you so much everyone for your kind messages."
She has since added: "Thank you again everyone who tuned into my show last night The Mummy Diaries, all your comments make me happy xxxx."
Among those to sing their praises was Sam's former TOWIE co-star Lydia Bright, who said: "Seriously baby Paul the cutest, most handsome, happy little baby. Loving the #TheMummyDiaries @SamanthaFaiers @BillieFaiers."
Lydia's mum Debbie added: "Congratulations @SamanthaFaiers and @BillieFaiers on last nights show. Baby Paul is a star!"
Sam has also retweeted a fan, who admitted: "Feel bad for slating @SamanthaFaiers boyfriend now.. He's actually an alright guy and their baby is the cutest thing ever #mummydiaries."
Meanwhile, Sam has confirmed that she is now writing a book about motherhood and her son Paul, called My Baby and Me.
