CBB star Ricky Norwood has hinted he would be up for a return to EastEnders...

Oh, we'd SO love Fatboy to return, right?!

Ricky initially left the BBC soap last year, but has since teased that he would be up for reprising his role as Fatboy in the future.

Now, if you cast your minds back to Ricky's exit, you may be thinking, 'How can Fatboy come back? Isn't Fatboy supposed to be dead?'

Ricky had bowed out of the soap with viewers believing he had been crushed to death in the boot of a car. However, Ricky has now pointed out in an interview with Daily Express that he was never actually physically seen in the boot.

When asked if that mean he could potentially make a return as Fatboy, Ricky teased: "I mean there's always a possibility."

He revealed that fans have been speculating about Fatboy's comeback and added: "Do you know how many plot twists there've been in nearly every storyline that has happened since I have left? People are like, 'Yes, you're coming back!'"

Would he come back, though?

"I'm never ever going to deny a phone call," he said. "I've got love, so much love for EastEnders... we did some great work while I was there, and they're doing some great work now."

Ricky had starred on EastEnders for six years, first joining the show back in 2010. He went on to win the Best Newcomer prizes at both the Inside Soap Awards in 2010 and National Television Awards in 2011.

A spokesperson for EastEnders confirmed his exit in October 2015, stating at the time: "We can confirm Ricky is leaving. We wish him all the best."

Fans have since seen Ricky star on Celebrity Big Brother. He entered the house this summer and went on to finish second on the show. Ex On The Beach's Stephen Bear was crowned the winner.

Speaking about his time in the house, Ricky had told host Emma Willis: "To come in second makes no sense to me... I'm so glad that I made it this far and went through the complete journey - it's been a fantastic one and it's helped me grow. It's been testing, telling, it's been crazy every single part of it."
