TOWIE's Pete Wicks and Dan Edgar have both been at the forefront of major DRAMA on the news series and it seems that even their mums are finding it difficult to watch the show!

On last night's (13 October) episode, we saw Megan McKenna and Pete in a huge row over sexts that he had been sending to other women. Meanwhile, Dan found himself in trouble after ex-girlfriend Kate Wright confronted him on the beach when it emerged he had slept with someone in Marbella, despite them both promising not to have sex with anyone else while on the holiday.

Oh dear!

After the show ended, Dan's mum Wendy took to Twitter to contact Pete's mum Tracy, writing,"Don't know about you but I need a large glass of wine...@tracywicks61" along with a hiding monkey and kissing face emoji.

Responding to the tweet, Tracy wrote: "A bottle or two more like xxx" and added a sad face to the message.

Continuing to express her dismay, Wendy also tweeted ITVBe to discuss the situation between her son, Dan, and Kate. She explained: "Difficult being a mum and seeing 2 people you love and care about arguing...@dan_edgar1 @xkatiewright."

Kate first joined TOWIE last year as Dan's ex and we saw the Essex lad pull out a number of cute things to win her back, including making an adorable scrapbook of all their memories and even re-enacting a Top Gun scene!

But they sadly split over the summer and since then we've seen the pair trying to remain amicable with each other. However things turned bad when Jon Clark revealed that Kate had slept with his friend, which is something she had always denied.

And when Kate flew out to Marbella on Sunday (9 October), she kept her cool when she discovered that Dan had bedded someone else. However on last night's episode, she angrily accused her ex-man of "not keeping his d*ck in his pants".

She explained: "Could you not keep it in your pants for one week? Look what you did to me when you heard a rumour I had slept with someone. You made my life hell. We both agreed we wouldn't sleep with anyone in Marbella. It's fine though, you've done it. It is what it is."

Dan defended himself by saying that Kate had blocked him, adding: "I'm single and trying to get over all this."

And it seems like poor Dan's mum is also trying to cope with the situation!

Meanwhile, Pete's mum had to watch her son admit to the way he had treated girlfriend, Megan. Viewers saw Pete and Megan rowing over the messages he had been sending to other girls.

A distraught Megan left Marbella early when the news emerged and back in Essex, we saw Pete apologise to Megan, saying: "I f**ked up because I never thought I deserved you in the first place,".

Furious with his behaviour, Megan shouted: "You know I've been through this before and I didn't have trust in boys and you've pulled the wool over my eyes.

"You're greedy, f**king disgusting and you've embarrassed me and I feel like I can't go out."

TOWIE airs Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
