Well, at least he sees the funny side of it, right?
Adam was a fan favourite with viewers during the last series of Love Island, thanks to his winning metaphors, but he wasn't such a hit with the ladies in the villa, and well to be honest, the feeling was pretty mutual.
Despite being coupled up with Olivia Buckland and Zara Holland, Adam wasn't really feeling things romantically, but he did get a spark when Katie Salmon arrived in the villa. He pulled out all the stops to win her over, but was later left disappointed when Katie had chosen to couple with Sophie Gradon instead.
That pairing, though, never worked out. Sophie decided she wanted to make a go of things with Tom Powell and left the villa to work on her relationship with Tom. Adam, meanwhile, got the opportunity to see if romance could blossom with Katie and while they had seemed pretty into each other, things fizzled out between them following the show.
In fact, they ended up on pretty bad terms.
Adam had likened his relationship to Katie to a "kebab", we kid you not, and surprisingly it didn't go down too well.
Now, Adam has reflected on his time in the Love Island villa, and sharing a screenshot of himself sitting alone on his bed while Nathan Massey and Cara de la Hoyde shared a smooch next to him, Adam tweeted: "Pretty much sums up my time on Love Island, more like 'Loner' Island #loveisland."
He added two crying with laughter emojis.
Luckily for the Irish wrestler, he is having better luck out of the villa and revealed back in September that he now has a girlfriend! Adam is dating fitness trainer and dancer Carly Taylor and is often seen gushing about her on social media.
In fact, just recently Adam shared a sweet photo of Carly planting a kiss on his cheek and added the caption: "Think of how different your life would be if you didn't [meet] the person that changed everything @xcarlytaylorx."
Carly, meanwhile, has gushed on her own page: "Sometimes you just meet a person and you just click, you're comfortable with them like you've known them your whole life and you don't have to pretend to be anyone or anything...."
So far, we don't know too much about the couple's relationship (like how did they meet for instance?!), but here's hoping we'll be given the lowdown in Love Island's Christmas special episode.
It's been reported that the Love Island cast will be returning to our screens for a festive episode, bringing fans up to date on what life has been like for them since they left the villa. Nothing has yet been confirmed, and it's not known whether host Caroline Flack will be returning too, but a source told The Sun that something is in the pipeline.
They claimed: "The whole project is currently in pre-production, but there's a real buzz around the idea. It's just a case of working out the logistics with schedules and locations."

Malin Andersson and Sophie Gradon, meanwhile, have been hinting at the ep on Twitter.
Sophie tweeted: "Did somebody say @LoveIsland CHRISTMAS SPECIAL?!" Prompting Malin to reply with a winking emoji and a tweet that read: "I heard that too."
