X Factor's Saara Aalto found herself in the bottom two on last night's show (9 October) but has declared she already feels "like a winner" after being saved by all four judges.

The Finnish singer appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning (10 October) to discuss the dramas of yesterday's live show. Saara and Bratavio were the acts which received the least votes and both had to go head-to-head for one last chance to impress the judges with their talent.

Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Nicole Scherzinger all favoured Saara's performance of Sia's 'Alive', over Bratavio's rendition of Yazz's 'The Only Way Is Up'.

Discussing her saving performance, host Lorraine Kelly exclaimed "You sang your heart out!", with Saara explaining: "I had to! That was the moment of my life."

The singer went on to say: "For me, every performance is a victory. I feel like a winner already because I've came so far already and now I have to win the hearts of British people and I hope to get as far as I can."

Speaking on Xtra Factor afterwards, Bratavio - Bradley Hunt and Ottavio Columbro - admitted they weren't surprised to become the first elimination from the talent contest.

Ottavio said: "We are alright, we gave it our best shot. If the public didn't connect with us there is nothing more we can do. The only way is up! Saara is amazing and she has an outstanding vocal range so well done Saara."

Bradley added that Ottavio "already had his bags packed".

While on Lorraine, Saara also opened up about her engagement to fan Meri Sopanen, who she met through her performance on Finland's version of The Voice.

Discussing how they got together, Saara explained: " She saw me on The Voice and sent me a message saying 'Congratulations, I really like your voice and you seem like a very nice person'. And then we met a year after at my concert, and then we started to become friends and now we're together."

Gushing over the relationship, Saara added: "She works as my manager and takes care of me. It's fantastic. I'm so grateful to have her."

Talking about the upcoming weeks on X Factor, Saara revealed that she's looking forward to performing some more upbeat songs.

"I am a show girl, I am actually looking forward to putting on a big show and doing a happy number."
