Ant and Dec will NOT host the BRIT Awards next year and in their place, viewers will see singer Michael Bublé take over presenting duties.

Yup, the 'Haven't Met You Yet' singer will fill their shoes as host and Michael has said fronting the awards bash is the "perfect gig" for him.

Details surrounding the Brits 2017 ceremony were confirmed today (7 October) and speaking about becoming host, Michael revealed: "It is a huge honour for me to host such a big night in music. Even though I didn't grow up as a Brit, I've always been well aware of the BRIT Awards and their impact globally.

"As a fan of music this is the perfect gig. I'm very much looking forward to February and celebrating the success stories of a great year in music."

A chairman for the awards added: "This is a huge coup for The BRIT Awards and we are delighted to announce Michael as our host for 2017. He is an extremely talented and charismatic world-class entertainer much loved by the British public. Michael will add an exciting element to our show in 2017."

Since news of Michael's addition has been confirmed, Dec took to Twitter to send the star his wishes. He tweeted: "Good luck Boobs! D," adding a thumbs up emoji. Ant and Dec had hosted the BRITs for the last two years, taking over from James Corden's run in 2015. They had hosted the ceremony once before, back in 2001.

During last year's awards ceremony, viewers saw Ant and Dec bag a selfie with Kim Kardashian and Madonna hit headlines for *that* fall, thanks to her tightly tied cape, while performing on stage.
