Yup. The 24-year-old has revealed she will be "taking a break from music and the spotlight" in 2017. Sorry Demi fans!
Taking to Twitter, Demi announced the news to her 38.8 million followers. She said: "So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media," and added an emoji of a hand waving.
The 'Cool For The Summer' singer didn't give any reasons for her decision, but did respond to one fan saying: "It doesn't feel worth it anymore. I'd rather do charity work [to be honest]."

Of course, Demi was inundated with comments from fans urging her not to take some time out. Others, meanwhile, told Demi that they will miss her but gave her their support. One user commented: "I'M GOING TO MISS YOU OMG." Another added: "Okay as upsetting as this is, you totally deserve a break and Lovatics will ALWAYS be by your side."
Demi's tweet revealing her break comes after she hit back at criticism surrounding a recent interview she had given. Speaking to Glamour magazine, Demi shared her thoughts on Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' video, rumoured to be based around her feud with Katy Perry, and suggested it wasn't "women empowerment" and could give fans the wrong impression about body image.
She had said: "This will probably get me in trouble, but I don't see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body. It's kind of this false image of what people should look like."
Demi defended her comments on Twitter and said: "I get asked questions. I answer them. Sue me. Also don't forget that words can be taken out of context when doing interviews.. still not apologising for saying what everyone wants to say. I don't understand why people care so much about what I say in interviews? Do y'all watch the news? Don't y'all got sh*t to worry about?"
Demi has just wrapped her Future Now tour, that she co-headlined with good friend Nick Jonas, and was recently seen with his brother Joe Jonas at LA Live over in the States.
She and Joe, who is actually an ex-boyfriend of hers (they split in May 2010), ended up getting stuck in a lift for four hours together while waiting to perform. Joe had been at the music event with his band DNCE.
Following her relationship with Joe, Demi had gone on to date That '70s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama, but they announced their split in June. Demi and Wilmer had dated for six years and described their break up as an "incredibly difficult decision."
