Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and boyfriend Liam Payne have not commented on rumours they're expecting a baby but if it is true, then TOWIE star Megan McKenna couldn't be more thrilled!

The Essex reality star addressed the speculation in her new column for Reveal magazine, telling us: "OMG – honestly, if it's true that Cheryl F-V and Liam Payne are having a baby then I absolutely love it!

"She's been through such a sh*t time with relationships, like I have. They've both done so much with their lives already, and if they're happy, why not? Even if she had a baby now, in a few years' time she can come back and still smash it with her music."

Cheryl in Paris on Sunday.

Cheryl, 33, and Liam, 23, have not commented on increasing rumours that a baby is on the way, although it's perhaps not that surprising given how fiercely they guard their privacy.

They began dating towards the end of last year, following Cheryl's split from second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

Cheryl and Liam first met when he auditioned for X Factor in 2008 and she was on the judging panel. That attempt to get to the next stage was unsuccessful, but he returned two years later to audition for Cheryl again.

Since they began dating, the couple have rarely appeared in public together: they've only had two notable red carpet appearances, one at The Global Gift Gala in Paris and then later at the Cannes Film Festival.

Rumours of a pregnancy surfaced last month when fans started piecing together 'clues' that could point to a baby: they included Cheryl having a "fuller face" in her latest L'Oreal advert, Liam changing his Twitter bio to say he was the happiest man in the world, and Cheryl haven't retreated from the limelight.

Not exactly firm proof, though....

Cheryl made her first public appearance since the rumours on Sunday night, when she attended a L'Oreal party at Paris Fashion Week. Of course, everyone was on bump watch but her figure hugging black jumpsuit with embellished details across the stomach didn't give too much away.

Meanwhile, bookies have now suspended betting on Cheryl and Liam announcing a pregnancy this year, instead introducing betting on whether the baby will be twins and if an engagement will follow.
