Carol Vorderman is in the running to star on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, according to reports.

The former Loose Women star is being lined up by show bosses to be one of this year's campmates, and according to The Sun, they are willing to offer Carol a six figure sum to secure her place in the jungle.

A source told the paper: "[Carol] is well-known and still carries a lot of sex appeal. ITV chiefs are also hoping that she will be the brains of the camp. She's a TV legend and they're prepared to splash the cash to land her."

She's not the only famous face to have already been linked to the jungle, as Spencer Matthews is thought to be in talks for a return when I'm A Celeb returns in a couple of months time.

He had been a late arrival on the show last year, but was forced to exit early after admitting to taking a steroids based medication. Spencer apologised to his family, friends and fans on his departure and has since candidly spoken about his regret over leaving the jungle after just two nights.

Back in June, Spencer revealed that his comeback had been "discussed", telling The Sun on Sunday: "It's been discussed. I'd like to do it. I made a terrible mistake and I apologised. I'm in a good place now."

Reports then followed claiming that Spencer has been offered £50,000 to return.

Also rumoured to appear on I'm A Celeb this time round is Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt and American gold medallist and swimmer Ryan Lochte.

Fans will also see a huge change to I'm A Celebrity's spinoff show on ITV2, after its host Laura Whitmore decided to quit.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now has now changed its name to I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp and will see Joe Swash return to present alongside girlfriend Stacey Solomon, Vicky Pattison and comedian Chris Ramsey.

Plus, it'll be sporting a brand new look as the set is getting a revamp too.

Speaking about her addition to the presenting team, Vicky has said: "I can't wait to work alongside Chris, Joe and Stacey, who are all brilliant," she said. "I'm dying to get back in the jungle and hopefully they'll still let me give some of the trials a go! We can't let the camp mates have all the fun now can we?!"
