CBB star Heavy D is now ENGAGED to girlfriend Bryony Ann Harris, after just one month of dating.

Talk about a whirlwind romance!

He popped the question during an interview live on FUBAR radio, and an unsuspecting Bryony was quick to accept his proposal, telling Heavy D he was "mental."

The couple had been discussing their relationship live on air, and when host Lizzie Cundy suggested things were quite serious between 43-year-old Heavy (real name Colin Newell) and Bryony, 21, Heavy began to get down on one knee.

He pulled a ring out of his pocket, with Bryony asking him: "What are you doing?! Shut up. What the f**k?"

Heavy then asked her to marry him and Bryony replied: "Yes, obviously, but you're f**king mental."

"I told you I don't mess about," Heavy replied.

Bryony then revealed that the couple had been talking about marriage, adding to Heavy: "I didn't actually think you were going to do this... And [the ring] it's green! I said I wanted a green ring when we actually get engaged."

Storage Hunters UK star Heavy declared: "It's a yes. BOOM."

He and Bryony first went public with their romance in August, meeting shortly after Heavy's appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. He had joined the likes of Lewis Bloor, Marnie Simpson, Stephen Bear and Ricky Norwood in the house, and was the fourth housemate to be evicted on the show.

Shortly after his first date with Bryony (which was at Nandos, FYI), Heavy confirmed their romance in an interview with The Sun and insisted the 22 year age gap between them doesn't phase him.

He said: "'The age difference isn't a problem – love conquers all. Age is just a number, boom!"
