Ex On The Beach star Rogan O'Connor isn't currently starring on the show's fifth series, but he's got a funny feeling that MTV had wanted him to return.

Rogan has already made an appearance on series two and three of the dating show, but this time round, we haven't seen him enter the villa.

That's because he is all loved-up with girlfriend Chloe Francis, and as he points out, you can't really head into the villa and be off the market, but he does think that MTV provided the opportunity for him to return, if he had chosen to.

His logic? Most of his exes are in the villa this time round!

Speaking exclusively to Reveal at the launch for multi-vitamin supplement HangDr, Rogan told us: "If I'm completely honest with you, there's about eight girls in total and I think six of them are my exes. I think they did they want me back in!

"I was watching it and I was like, 'Ooh, I could have definitely going in there.' I think people are still expecting me to pop in!"

Spoiler alert: he's not going to.

Fans will know that Rogan had dated Jess Impiazzi in the past and had branded her as the "one that got away" during series two of Ex On The Beach when she rocked up on the show. They tried to get their romance back on track, but it wasn't exactly plain sailing, as Rogan couldn't help but give into other temptations... They did date for awhile when the show wrapped, but after a few weeks things fizzled out.

Rogan's exes (in EOTB terms) include Jem Lucy and Kayleigh Morris too.

The villa has been at loggerheads this time round.

Having his say on Ex On The Beach's fifth series, Rogan said he can understand why Jess had decided to leave so early on. She left the villa after tensions rose and she began to suffer with anxiety.

"In our series, there was a lot of love," Rogan explained. "We were all friends and then there were drunken arguments. This time, people are going on it to go to war. They're going for that reason - to argue."

He may have a point, so far this series security has been forced to intervene on multiple occasions - from Jem and Kayleigh's bust up in the villa, to Jem and Holly's spat on the beach and Chloe Goodman slapping Jordan Davies around the face.

Yup. It has been pretty eventful!
