While us mere mortals reach for the wellies when the heavens open and it pours with rain, the fash pack simply ramp up the style. And when it's London Fashion Week, a pair of rubber boots just won't cut it.

No one knows that better than the Queen of style herself, Victoria Beckham, who wasn't about to let a little rain cloud dampen her look as she headed to her store in London's Dover Street this afternoon.

Besides, when you have flunkies to hold your umbrella for you, you might as well make the most of it!

Dressed in her trademark elegant style, with a round neck dark navy knitted jumper and matching midi skirt, VB completed the look with a soaring pair of pristine white stilettos. Her Essex boy hubby David would be proud!

Of course the 42-year-old mother-of-four also kept her oversized sunglasses firmly on, despite the distinctly cloudy afternoon.

Her look was in stark contrast to her recent New York Fashion Week uniform of loose trousers and flat sandals that she wore to her SS17 catwalk show.

Earlier this week the former Spice Girl-turned-fashion guru revealed, in an exclusive interview with ITV's This Morning, how her only daughter Harper is taking after her sense of style.

"Harper loves beauty!" she said, adding: "I'm very close with all of the children, but the great thing about Harper being a little girl she loves to play with make-up - it's great mother and daughter time."

Vic added that despite being inherently girly, Harper also likes to get up to mischief with her elder brothers Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 13, and Cruz, 11 - and could even give her mum a run for her money in the high heels stakes: "She's very, very girly, but she also loves to run around in the garden and get muddy with her brothers. She's been able to run in platforms for a few years now! She can wear heels like most grown ups cannot."
